INDISCRETIONS OF AN AMERICAN CAD: BLAKE SHELTON STILL IN DOGHOUSE!

MIRANDA LAMBERT’s rocking new shape has hubby Blake Shelton panting like a puppy – but the skirt-chasing singer is still in the doghouse, say sources.

The 30-year-old beauty dropped 35 pounds and was the belle of the ball at the Jan. 26 Grammy Awards, where she showed off her stunning new figure in a revealing red gown by designer Pamella Roland.

Blake made it clear he loved what he saw when he was photographed cuddling and squeezing his wife at a pre-Grammys party in Los Angeles. But a close friend says the pictures were largely for show.

“Miranda plays the Hollywood game and will hug her husband in public, but when Blake gets home, it’s a completely different story,” revealed a friend. “He’s still got hell to pay with Miranda for all his boozy flirting that’s embarrassed and angered her in the past year.

“Blake seems to want her more than ever, but she hasn’t forgiven him yet for his past sins.”

Country chart-topper Blake became a household name due to his job as a judge on NBC’s hit singing competition “The Voice.” And as his TV fame snowballed, the 37-year-old crooner stepped up his partying, say pals.

As The ENQUIRER reported, Miranda was upset by flirty relationships her husband had with young country singers Cady Groves and Cassadee Pope – and last fall she hit the roof when Blake was photographed with his arm around gorgeous actress Lindsey Sporrer at a birthday party for his fellow “Voice” judge Usher.

Miffed Miranda decided that “looking great was her best revenge on Blake,” said a friend, so the 5-foot-4 singer dropped a full dress size.

Happily, her 35-pound weight loss has given her new confidence.

“Miranda is winning the war with Blake,” declared a close source. “She’s doing flirting of her own now.”

The “Heart Like Mine” singer still wants her nearly three-year marriage to succeed, said the friend, “but she isn’t yet done making Blake grovel.”
