IN a deeply moving act of devotion, “American Idol” competitor CRISTABEL CLACK prays she wins so she can buy her family of five a new home in the wake of a heartbreaking foreclosure.

The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that the 29-year-old singer – who wowed judges with her soulful rendition of Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You” – had her three-bedroom home sold out from under her after she defaulted on a loan payment in January 2010.

According to court documents obtained by The ENQUIRER, the San Antonio native, who works at a church alongside her pastor-husband Brandon, was given a home loan of $90,552 on Dec. 29, 2006.

But Cristabel, who judge Nicki Minaj refers to as the show’s “church girl,” was crushed when her home wound up being sold at public auction.

“She and her husband struggle to support their three young children,” said a family friend.

“Her powerful singing voice is the only card she has left to play.”

The devoted mom, who now resides in an apartment complex with her family, is determined to improve their lives.

“She’s out to win the contest’s lucrative recording contract,” said the source.

“But she has an even greater desire to buy her family a real home – for keeps!”
