Wrestler Hulk Hogan is suing his ex-wife, Linda Bollea, claiming that she not only lied but defamed him in her new book.
The St. Petersburg Times reported that Hogan – real name is Terry Bollea – filed the lawsuit yesterday in Clearwater, Fla.
The 18-page lawsuit charges ex-wife Linda Bollea wrote "Wrestling the Hulk – My Life Against the Ropes" to help resurrect her non-existent career.
In the book, she wrote Hulk had abused her during their marriage and also had homosexual encounters.
In the lawsuit, The Hulksaid Linda's book has harmed his reputation as a wrestler and as a man.
The Hulk’s demanding a jury trial and a halt to his ex-wife's comments.
In addition, he also charges she also made these explosive claims during book promo interviews on national TV.
In the ex-couple’s recent divorce settlement, Linda Bollea received more than 70 percent of the couple's assets after a bitter divorce war.
