HONEY BOO BOO’s GAY UNCLE POODLE: CRIMINAL PAST

HONEY BOO BOO’s “UNCLE POODLE” may be gay, but he isn’t all that different from the rest of the redneck clan AND he has the rap sheet to prove it!

The ENQUIRER has learned that Marvin Lee Thompson, the younger brother of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s father, “Sugar Bear,” has a lengthy history of run-ins with the law in Georgia.

In 2002, when he was just 19, Lee was busted for credit card fraud. He received three years’ probation and was ordered to pay more than $1,000 in fines and restitution. The following year, he found himself in trouble again on multiple charges ranging from theft and obstructing law enforcement to driving with a suspended/revoked license. But this time, he didn’t get off as easily and was sentenced to three years in state prison!

And while the 29-year old has a passion for the color pink, he’s no sissy behind the steering wheel. We’ve dug up his driving records and found that he’s received five speeding tickets – including one for doing 83 in a 55 mph zone!

She’s Back! Honey Boo Boo Then & Now!

Incredibly, Lee’s criminal past doesn’t make him the black sheep of the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” clan. As The ENQUIRER has already reported, nearly every adult in the family – including June “Mama” Shannon and three of her daughters’ daddies – has a criminal record!

Even so, their reality show has taken the country by storm since it premiered on TLC in August. “Uncle Poodle” made his first appearance on the season finale, when America’s newest hillbilly sweetheart, 7-year-old Alana – who gave her uncle his nickname – declared: “Ain’t nothing wrong with bein’ a little gay! Everybody’s a little gay!”

Lee recently “married” his longtime boyfriend Joshua Yarbrough, although the union isn’t officially recognized by the state of Georgia.

Although Lee tries to present himself on TV as a redneck gay rights activist, a source close to the family said: “He’s actually just a petty crook who’s been in trouble with the law his whole life.”
