Batman sues Batman – at last that’s what the Mayor of a small Turkish town is trying to pull.
Huseyin Kalkan the mayor of Batman, Turkey is suing Warner Brothers and director Christopher Nolan for a piece of The Dark Knight’s fat Bat-pie.
The Turk claims they used the name of his city without permission.
“There is only one Batman in the world,“ the perfidious politician declared. “The American producers used the name of our city without informing us.’
He blames the Bat-flick for a crimewave of murders and suicides erupting in the town since the film’s preem despite the fact that there have been six previous Bat-films dating back to the 1960s and the character made his comics debut in 1939.
Maybe those crimes are coming across the border from a town called Jo’kah?
