We already knew Hilary Duff was a doll, but now there’s proof: Toymaking giant Mattel is designing a Barbie based on the 19-year-old actress.
The “Red Carpet Glam Hilary Duff Doll” sports a polka-dot dress with a red satin sash.
But her wardrobe doesn’t end there. An entire line of duds for the dolly, designed by Hilary herself, will soon be available for “Lizzie McGuire” fans to play with.
“Not only are Barbie and Hilary two of the most stylish entertainers, actors and fashion designers, but they also show girls there are no limits to what they can do,” said Jamie Wood, Mattel’s VP of Barbie marketing.
Hilary joins an esteemed crowd of other famous women who’ve been immortalized in plastic: Marilyn Monroe, LeAnn Rimes, Lucille Ball and Beyonce have all had their turn on store shelves worldwide.
