Katherine Heigl, the star of Grey’s Anatomy, won’t be sweating bullets at this year’s Emmy’s.
She doesn’t even want to be nominated.
Heigl, who won Best Supporting Actress at last years nods, passed on submitting her name for consideration because she feels the hit show didn’t deliver the goods this season — i.e., writing.
"I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization," decided against competing, Heigl stated in a handout provided by her publicist.
Could the writer’s strike-shortened season have had anything to do with that, Kat?
