HEF SPLITS FROM TWINS

Could Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner's days of fulsome frolicking be winding down?  Hef sends much ballyhooed twin GF's packing.

Hef, 83, announced the split via Twitter, natch.

"The Shannon Twins are growing up. They're moving to the Playmate House with my blessing so they will be free to do other things," Hef transmitted.

Kristina and Karissa  aka The Shannon Twins, are both 20 and had been dating the Hefner for the past year ever since his last batch of bunnies hopped on.

They tweeted in unison as twins are wont to do: "Were (sic) looking forward to moving to the Playmate House, But we still love Hef & want to remain close."

This means Hef is down to just one live-in girlfriend - Crystal Harris, the December 2009 centerfold.(Pictured)
