Halle Berry has signed a deal with Coty Beauty to launch her own fragrance, WWD reports. The fragrance line is expected to be released globally in spring 2009.
But the deal came as a shock to Revlon, where Berry has been under contract as a spokesperson for the last 12 years. Revlon’s president and chief executive officer, David Kennedy, told WWD he was “not aware” of the deal, but wouldn’t comment on the details of Berry’s Revlon contract.
