GROUND ZERO SHOCKER!

description

Workers at the World Trade Center site are excavating a 32-foot-long ship hull that apparently was used in the 18th century!

Reportedly, the ship may have been used as part of the landfill that extended lower Manhattan into the Hudson River years before the Trade Center was built.

Archaeologists said that they hope the artifact could be fully retrieved.

A 18th Century shipping expert is en route to inspect this important find.

They’d like to salvage timbers of the vessel and go for a reconstruct.

It appears to be unclear if any large portions could be removed intact from the centuries old burial grounds.

"We’re mostly clearing it by hand because it’s kind of fragile," an expert said.

Meanwhile, Freedom Tower continues to rise.
