Grey’s Anatomy star T.R. Knight says he doesn’t know if he will be returning to the ABC hit series next fall. “I literally don’t know,” he told Access Hollywood at the 52nd annual OBIE awards. “It would be nice to know if I’m supposed to report back soon.”
On the season finale, Knight’s character’s future plans were left uncertain after he failed his medical exam and cleaned out his locker at Seattle Grace. There’s been speculation on whether Knight and his co-star Isaiah Washington would return to Grey’s following the infamous homophobic slur incident.
Knight says he hopes producers tell him soon whether he is returning, “because I would like to know if I can shave my head.”
