After living together for 30-plus years, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have decided to tie the knot – and only The National ENQUIRER can reveal the secret behind their change of heart!
“They’ve talked about it on and off over the years,” an insider revealed. “But Kurt’s finally decided he wants to marry Goldie before her 70th birthday next year!
“He popped the question and, of course, she agreed. They’re looking at rings, but they’re keeping it hush-hush for now.”
Goldie, who will turn 70 on Nov. 21, and 63-year-old Kurt will say “I do” at their $3 million Home Run Ranch in Aspen, Colo., said the insider.
“They want a cowboy-style wedding – and that means horses and rock ’n’ roll!” said the source.
While Christmas shopping in Aspen, Kurt showed off his Wild West look in a cowboy hat and vest, while bride-to-be Goldie grinned from ear-to-ear.
The actor is sporting a full beard and moustache for his role in an upcoming post-Civil War film, “The Hateful Eight,” directed by Quentin Tarantino.
Ironically, word of the couple’s nuptials comes soon after Goldie’s daughter Kate Hudson split from rocker fiancé, Matthew Bellamy. Meanwhile, Kate’s been doing the two-step with “Dancing with the Stars” pro Derek Hough, 29.
The “Almost Famous” star, 35, and Matthew, 36, have a three-year-old son, Bingham. As The ENQUIRER has reported, Goldie was pressuring Kate to make things legal.
But it looks like Kurt and Goldie will beat her daughter to the altar!
Said a Hollywood insider who knows the couple: “These two are soul mates. They’ve been together longer than most Hollywood marriages.
“It only makes sense that Kurt wants to make it official – and no better reason to make Goldie an honest woman before she turns the big 7-0!”
