STACY KEIBLER stuck it to George Clooney, one of Hollywood’s hottest hunks, by getting hitched just eight months after their split!
Former WWE star Stacy, 34, and tech entrepreneur Jared Pobre, 39, tied the knot in an intimate sunset beach wedding in Mexico on March 8. The shocking nuptials came as a surprise even to family members who were vacationing with the gorgeous couple.
“It was a revenge wedding of sorts,” a source revealed to The ENQUIRER. “Stacy stuck it to George to show him that he lost out on a great wife…and now she’s rubbing his face in it.”
In a post-wedding interview, the overjoyed new bride gushed about her relationship.
“Marriage is the ultimate bond of love and friendship,” she said. “It means putting all your faith and trust into a person that you can’t help but believe is your soul mate. Someone who has all of your best interests at heart – someone handpicked for you, to help you grow and be the best person that you can be. Jared is all of this for me.”
An insider says the news of his former flame’s wedding shocked the dashing “Monuments Men” star. “Typically, when George ends a relationship, his brokenhearted exes go through a period of pining over him and trying to win him back,” said the source. “But that just wasn’t the case with Stacy. She walked away from him and never looked back.
“Stacy began dating Jared within days after her split with George – and that really struck an emotional nerve with him.”
The 52-year-old bachelor has dated a long list of beautiful women, including Krista Allen, Lisa Snowdon, Sarah Larson and Elisabetta Canalis. He and Stacy began dating in August 2011, but the two called it quits just two years later, reportedly because Stacy was anxious to start a family. Stacy denied that, and a well-placed source told The ENQUIRER that they broke up because of Stacy’s fitness obsession.
Stacy has known Jared – the CEO of Future Ads, a private digital media firm he started in 2001 – for over five years. Their friendship quickly blossomed into romance when Stacy found herself suddenly single last summer.
“George was aware that Stacy didn’t waste any time finding a new guy after they split up,” the source said, “but it served as an enormous blow to his ego that she could fall out of love with him and in love with someone else so quickly.
“He was floored when he heard the news.”
