Sir Ian McKellen will reprise his role of Gandalf the Wizard in Guillermo Del Toro‘s film version of Tolkien‘s The Hobbit.
Sir Ian who played both white and gray versions of Gandalf in the butt-numbing Lord of the Rings film trilogy has confirmed he will appear in the forthcoming two-part prequel.
The Hobbit reveals how Bilbo Baggins found The Ring.
"Obviously, it’s not a part that you turn down, I loved playing Gandalf," Sir Ian said.
"It’s going to be amazing."
