TOM CRUISE is blasting his onetime good pal JAMIE FOXX after Jamie denied dating Tom’s ex-wife KATIE HOLMES say sources.
In October, The ENQUIRER broke the story that Jamie, 46, and Katie, 35, were involved in a steamy fling, with the “Django Unchained” star regularly spending the night at Katie’s New York home. Although Jamie insisted at the time that he wasn’t dating Tom’s ex, a recently published report claims the pair spent time together in New York City during Super Bowl weekend.
And Tom is said to be furious about it.
According to a source, Tom told pals that he believes Jamie wasn’t being honest when he denied
he and Katie were seeing each other. “Tom feels betrayed because he and Jamie were once such close pals,” the source said.
the tWo actors starred together in the 2004 film “Collateral,” and Jamie publicly thanked Tom for helping him garner a Best supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his role in the film.
“Tom feels hurt and deceived,” the source continued. “When reports came out last year that Katie and
Jamie were seeing each other on the sly, of course he was angry.
“But when Jamie laughed it off and insisted the rumors were false, Tom accepted the denial at face value.”
Now, the source said, Tom’s convinced he can’t believe Jamie’s protestations.”

secret.
“Neither Katie nor Jamie wanted this affair out in the open,” revealed an insider. “Jamie wanted to keep
it quiet because he figured Tom would consider it a betrayal of their friendship.”
Not only did Jamie deny the romance, he went out of his way to note that Tom, 51, helped launch his film career and is one of his closest friends, implying that he wouldn’t date Katie out of respect for his pal.
“Tom appreciated that and was ready to trust Jamie wholeheartedly,” said a source.
But reports indicate the couple has continued to see each other since they were first spotted dancing and holding hands at a benefit in the Hamptons in August. In addition to spending time together over super
Bowl weekend, a published report says Katie secretly flew to California to stay at Jamie’s home in late
January, around the time of the Grammys.
Katie’s rep insists the actress made the trip to meet with a director about a new film but declined
to name the project or the director. The ENQUIRER has also discovered that both Katie and Jamie were partying in Miami over the New Year’s holiday, and there was talk that the two hooked up while there.
“This just adds insult to injury,” the insider added.
