Beloved “Perry Mason” actress Barbara Hale took a shocking secret to her grave — a 1943 role co-starring with Frank Sinatra ended in bed!

Best known as Perry’s loyal secretary, Della Street, on the hit legal show, Barbara starred in Frank’s film debut with 1943’s “Higher and Higher.”

“They had a discreet, yet passionate affair,” a source tells The National ENQUIRER.

“She didn’t tell anyone, and I didn’t feel right talking about it until her passing.”

Frank Sinatra’s Most Shocking Scandals

Barbara, who won an Emmy for her “Mason” role in 1959, called her screen time with Frank nerve-wracking.

“I never had been so scared in my life, but he’s been a very dear friend ever since,” she said.

But instead of running off with Frank, Barbara — who died at 94 on Jan. 26 — married actor Bill Williams in 1946, with the couple remaining together until his death in 1992.
