Thesp James Franco felt more than a tad shy in his kissing scenes in new flick Milk. He felt downright awkward making out with Sean Penn!
The two play gay lovers in Gus Van Sant’s biopic about Harvey Milk.
"We’re sitting on the curb, kissing and it’s not stopping," the Pineapple Express star said.
"A minute doesn’t sound like a long time, but, in front of 200 people, it’s a long time.
"Afterwards, we were like, ‘All right, how are those Raiders?’."
Penn, the consummate professional, knew how to keep things loose, in between takes.
"He would always ask me if my girlfriend was the better kisser," Franco divulged.
Well, was she, James?
