Matthew Fox reveals his character Jack Shephard on hit series Lost should never have survived.
Fox has become a familiar face if not an household name to the millions who follow the exploits of the Oceanic crash survivors in the time warped, WTF series Lost but he admits the shows creators had very different plans for his hero doc.
"Damon Lindelof and J.J. Abrams thought it would be cool to set Jack up as the hero, and then kill him off in the second episode," Fox confessed.
"But various people told them they thought this would be a bad idea."
Despite having a large ensemble cast, each season has seen a fair amount of characters bite the dust.
But on Lost being dead doesn’t mean staying dead.
Just ask Sayid.
