The Fox News Channel has reportedly kicked two GOP presidential wanna-bes to the curb for defying an ultimatum!
Multiple reports say Fox News Channel has terminated the contracts of both Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum after the deadline passed for the dyspeptic duo to make a decision about running for president.
The two were suspended in March for 60 days, until May 1, and were informed by high ranking Fox officials their contracts would be "terminated unless they notify Fox that they are not running for president," FNC political anchor Bret Baier told Fox faithful in March.
Meanwhile , the outspoken “fair and balanced” cable newser still has three other potential White House contenders still scoring paychecks: Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee and John Bolton.
Insiders say Fox News will give them the boot if they get closer to admitting they will enter the race for Prez.
Donald Trump faces a similar dilemma over at NBC but is expected to stay mum until after the season finale of "Celebrity Apprentice".
