FORMER “DALLAS” STAR ARRESTED FOR DUI

Former Dallas star Ken Kercheval has been arrested in Clinton, Indiana for drunk driving, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

The 71-year-old actor who is best remembered for playing Cliff Barnes, J.R. Ewing’s rival in the hit 1980s TV series Dallas, was arrested September 6th after a routine traffic stop, police said.

Clinton Reserve Police Officer Nick Hall arrested Kercheval, of Granada Hills, Calif., at 8:39 p.m. at Third and Blackman streets.

Kercheval was charged with operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol that registered .09 percent by the time he arrived at the county jail.

A source at the jail said Kercheval was booked in at 10:34 a.m. that day. He was released the next morning (Sept. 7) at 9:48 a.m. after posting $10,000 bond.

Kercheval owns a home in Clinton, Indiana that he inherited from his mother. He was attending the Little Italy Festival in Clinton over Labor Day Weekend, an insider told The ENQUIRER. He was spotted at the wine garden area at the festival where beer and wine were served.
