FLASH GORDON STAR SAM J. JONES INJURED IN SKI ACCIDENT
FLASH may save everyone one of us but WHO will save him as SAM. J. JONES injured in TV ski jump comp.

Jones who starred as the space-faring hero in the 1980 “FlashGordon” was set to participatein an upcoming UK reality TV skiing competition “The Jump” when disaster struck!

Being an intergalactic dolt at times, Jones successfully completed a jump when he leapt into the air to do his trademark cry of exultation – “YEAAAH!”

He fell over, injuring his shoulder.

Jones admitted “I was so shocked when I landed (successfully)… and I went ‘Yeah!’ and raised my arms. So after completing the run I fell over and hurt my arm.”

As The ENQUIRER reported previously other than a major cameo in Seth MacFarlane’s film “Ted” he had been operating his own high–profile security firm.

Now it seems other than Ming the Merciless, “Flash” Jones is his own worst enemy – when it comes to skiing.
