FISHY PHELPS NOT GRRR-EAT

description

Olympic fish-man Michael Phelps endorses sugar smack!

The winningest Olympian of all time, Phelps, an admitted junk food addict, has endorsed a breakfast cereal.

And it’s not the breakfast of champions Wheaties but Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes – the uncrowned king of processed sugar products.

Nutritionist Rebecca Salmon of Mount Sinai Medical Center told The New York Daily News, "I would not consider Frosted Flakes the food of an Olympian."

Many health experts do consider Frosted Flakes to be the food of a generation of morbidly obese and diabetic kids who need real role models like fellow Olympic medalist Dara Torres, who won big in Beijing fueled by healthy eating habits.

One wonders how long Phelps’ teeth will hold out from all that sugar.

Let’s hope he doesn’t call former dentist Mark Spitz (who’s record Phelps topped) for a cleaning.
