Felicity Huffman has revealed she had an eating disorder and suffered from bulimia as a teenager.

The actress, who plays harassed mom Lynette Scavo on Desperate Housewives, told in a newspaper interview she made herself sick six times a day. Felicity, 42, said: “I was bulimic and anorexic for a while, hating my body. I was never thin enough. My boobs weren’t big enough.

“I was throwing up all the time, figuring out what foods you can throw up and what foods you can’t. You top off at throwing up six times a day because your body just can’t take it anymore. I was pretty crazy.”

She credits her recovery to meeting actor William H. Macy, 55, her husband of eight years, and starting a family.
