Nicole Richie, now bedridden at home, after hospital scare.
The Simple Life star had checked herself into Cedars- Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles after trying to shake a nagging cold that wouldn’t quit.
It was actually pneumonia.
Nicole’s BF Joel Madden then Tweet-ed she was back at home seemingly OK but now Nicole has come clean with the worrisome truth.
Blogging on her website, Richie tried to allay fans’ fears.
"Right now it’s important for me to stay in bed and recover. Reading all of your messages on Twitter and my website has really brightened my spirits and I am so grateful for the support.
"I look forward to seeing you all very soon and wish you a happy Thanksgiving.
"I’d like to thank you all for the kind words and well wishes over the past few weeks."
It is unclear when Nicole will be her spunky self again.
