Less than a week after Family Ties mom Meredith Baxter admits she’s gay, "son" Brian Bonsall arrested on charges of assault.
Boulder Colorado cops say the 28 year old Bonsall best known for playing Michael J. Fox‘s younger bother Andy Keaton on the 1980s sitcom is in a whole heap of trouble.
Cops charge that Bonsall got into a fight at an apartment late Saturday night, walloping a pal with part of a broken wooden stool.
Bonsall has allegedly told arresting officers he had been drinking – a lot – and can’t remember what the heck happened.
The child star is currently behind bars in the Boulder County Jail and is due in court tomorrow.
This isn’t the first time Bonsall has been in trouble.
In 2007 he was sentenced to probation for assaulting his girlfriend and was later accused of violating probation.
