In yet another substance fueled meltdown, Charlie Sheen attacked his mother in a profanity-laced tirade, smashed his People’s Choice Award and slashed his own arm before being subdued and taken to the hospital!
The bizarre fiasco unfolded during a backyard barbecue at Charlie’s Beverly Hills mansion in Oct. 2013, an eyewitness claimed to The National ENQUIRER.
The former “Two and a Half Men” star – who rose from the dead in the series finale only to be killed again – was blotto on a cocktail involving single-malt Scotch, said the source. When his then-girlfriend, adult actress Scottine Ross, complained that the actor’s 70-year-old mother, Janet, had “disrespected” her, Charlie flipped out, added the source.
“Janet blew Scottine off because as far as she was concerned, Scottine was just another one of Charlie’s floozies,” claimed the spy. “But Charlie was convinced that he was in love with Scottine, and he was going to marry her, so he got all bent out of shape.”
Mother and son faced off in the kitchen, but the spat was loud enough for the 15 horrified guests, including Charlie’s exwife Denise Richards and dad, Martin Sheen, to hear Charlie call his mother “a f—ing b—-,” claimed the source.
The argument lasted several minutes before Charlie ran into his bedroom, locked the door and began blasting ear-shattering heavy metal music through the mansion’s speaker system.
“He ran to his room like a baby with a hand grenade,” the source told The ENQUIRER. “His guests were like, ‘Really? Again?’”
Then Charlie walked out onto the balcony and hurled the 14-inch hand-cut Waterford Crystal People’s Choice trophy over the railing – an act that revealed his true feeling about the show that once paid him $2 million an episode.
Said the source: “It didn’t hit anybody. It hit the terrace and part of it went into the pool!”
That’s when the “Anger Management” star went back into the bedroom, and slashed his left forearm with a knife.
Security guards quickly broke in, the source claimed, and hauled him off to a hospital.
