EXCLUSIVE: ROBERT CONRAD WILD WIFE DRUG BUST

description

The wife of Wild Wild West star Robert Conrad was arrested on drug charges after the couple’s three daughters caught her smoking crack cocaine and called police, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

Police arrived at the couple’s luxury home in Thousand Oaks, Calif., shortly before 5 a.m. on Sept. 11, according to an official report.

Actress LaVelda Conrad, 48, was taken to the county jail in Ventura, Calif., and held on $10,000 bail. A police mug shot taken after her arrest shows her looking shockingly thin and with her hair shaved to a stubble.

"A family member reported that Mrs. Conrad was under the influence of drugs at her residence," Ventura County Sheriff’s Captain Ross Bonfiglio told The ENQUIRER. "Mrs. Conrad was arrested on probable cause."

She was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police refused to reveal who made the call from the house, but a source close to the family told The ENQUIRER it was the couple’s daughters.

Conrad, 79, married LaVelda in 1977, and they have three daughters – Kaja, 25, Camille, 23, and 21-year-old Chelsea.

Besides using crack cocaine, LaVelda has been smoking crystal meth and taking prescription drugs, according to the insider.

LaVelda, who once weighed 120 pounds, is now down to about 90 pounds, said the source.

"When police came, Robert woke up, and even though in his heart he did not want LaVelda removed, he didn’t put up a fight and he let the cops take her away," the source revealed.
