Ailing Hollywood glamour queen Zsa Zsa Gabor, who is bedridden, is now being kept alive by a feeding tube, The ENQUIRER has learned.
Despite major health crises, Zsa Zsa, 97, has incredibly clung to life even after her right leg was amputated in 2011, and she battled an infection so severe her husband summoned a priest to perform last rites.
“Why is she still alive?” Zsa Zsa’s only child, 67-year-old Francesca Hilton, told The ENQUIRER. “She’s not really happy.”
Zsa Zsa’s eighth hubby, Prince Frédéric von Anhalt, believes she “could hang in another two years” as her “heart and lungs are in perfect condition.” Her mother, Jolie, lived to be 102!
Yet, this exclusive ENQUIRER photo reveals her shocking condition. Her face is immobile – her eyes shut and expressionless. The horrific images were snapped during daughter Francesca’s weekly visits to the Bel Air hilltop mansion where Zsa Zsa is eking out her final moments.
The hotel heiress alleged her mother is unable to see or speak, but Zsa Zsa’s husband said that’s untrue.
Frédéric, 71, claimed she sometimes asks for water, milk or juice and spends her time watching a TV placed by her bedside. He insisted his wife was “very happy” when he put a picture of a turkey on her TV to mark their annual Thanksgiving giveaway for the homeless.
“Zsa Zsa’s accepted that these are her last days (and) has a nurse 24/7 and is on a lot of pain meds,” a source close to her said.
