SARAH PALIN uses daughter BRISTOL to derail her GOP rival MICHELE Bachmann’s White House run!
Like Palin, Bachmann, 55 – a congressional rep from Minnesota – is a Tea Party favorite, and sources say the former Alaska governor is furious that political pundits are comparing the two.
“Plain and simple, Sarah feels threatened by Michele,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.
“Michele has a law degree, and Sarah knows that she can’t compete with her on an intellectual level. So she’s going to have to resort to other means to beat her.”
The self-professed “mama grizzly” started her campaign by using 20-year-old Bristol’s memoir as a Bachmann spoiler, said the source.
“The book wasn’t supposed to be out until August, but Sarah fought to have the release date pushed up so Bristol’s promotional appearances would coincide with Michele’s announcement she was running for president,” said the source.
“Sarah (will) do anything to bring her down.”
