TV’s HULK LOU FERRIGNO helped train MICHAEL JACKSON for his doomed 2009 comeback and told The ENQUIRER he’s ready to take the stand in the Jackson family’s wrongful death lawsuit.

“I haven’t communicated with Michael’s family since he died, but I would tell the truth in court if I was called,” Ferrigno told The ENQUIRER in an exclusive interview.

Famous as TV’s “The Incredible Hunk,” Ferrigno was Michael’s personal trainer in the early 1990s, and again before the superstar singer’s scheduled “This Is It” tour.

“We wanted to increase Michael’s flexibility and stamina for the tour,” said Ferrigno, 61.

“We worked on cardio, light weights, exercises and stretching several times a week. Being 50, Michael’s body went through a lot of stress getting ready for the tour, but he always had positive energy and always worked hard when I trained him. Michael was really getting fit and was almost ready to perform. I worked with him two weeks before his death.

"He was on a balanced diet and had a lot to live for.”

Since Michael’s death, Ferrigno – who hosts the popular websites louferrigno.com and ferrignofitness.com – has publicly stated that he noticed no changes in Michael’s physical condition, although the singer admitted that he had trouble sleeping and suffered from chronic back pain.

“I was at an event in Pittsburgh when I got the news that Michael had died,” recalled Ferrigno, who’s set to launch the website ferrignofit.com, which will offer customized 12-week online training programs.

“It was such a shock that at first I thought it was a bad joke. I’m still devastated. Michael and I had a lot of fun together. It’s still hard for me to believe that he’s gone.”
