Charlie’s Angels” star DREW BARRYMORE snubbed the funeral service of her late half-sister Jessica, The
ENQUIRER has learned.

“Drew hasn’t gotten in touch with us at all since Jessica died, and I don’t expect that she will,” the actress’ half-brother, John Blyth Barrymore III, told The ENQUIRER in an exclusive interview.

Jessica, 47, died July 29 of an accidental drug overdose in her car in National City, Calif.

She was the daughter of actor John Barrymore Jr. – who’s also Drew’s father – and his third wife Nina Wayne. According to her death certificate, some of Jessica’s cremated remains have already been scattered off the coast of San Diego, said John. “We’ll spread the rest of her ashes in the desert where our father’s ashes were also scattered,” he added.

The ENQUIRER has also learned that Jessica, who’d long struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, took methadone from her ailing mother while visiting her in a nursing home the day before she passed away.

A family insider revealed, “Jessica took her mother’s methadone!”

As The ENQUIRER has reported, Drew allegedly once made a childhood put-down of Jessica, which may have fueled her lifelong weight obsession. Drew, 39, reportedly said: “How could I possibly be related to someone who is so fat?” After Jessica’s death, Drew, 39, released a statement that said: “Although I only met her briefly, I wish her and her loved ones as much peace as possible. I’m so incredibly sorry for their loss.”

But John, 60, scoffed at that, telling The ENQUIRER, “Drew barely knew Jessica. That’s because she’s been avoiding the rest of her family for years! I haven’t heard from her in quite a while. She has a wall of people that have cut us off.”
