Nearly four years after he engineered his own firing from “Two and a Half Men” in spectacularly self-destructive fashion, Charlie Sheen shockingly admitted to The National ENQUIRER that he wants to guest star in the sitcom’s finale for “the fans.”

But he still hasn’t let go of his rage for the show’s producer, Chuck Lorre, and compared his FX series “Anger Management” to working with Lorre.

“We are not being run by a man who insisted on not having any fun doing a comedy, which I am still baffled by,” Sheen, famous at the time for bad-mouthing almost everyone in his wake, told The ENQUIRER.

In 2011, Sheen engaged in a notoriously crazed public meltdown that included wild parties, hordes of women he called “goddesses” and rolling out his bizarre “winning” catchphrase. This all inevitably led to Lorre firing him and killing off his character to ensure he could never return to the show.

In response, Sheen tirelessly, publicly eviscerated the successful producer: “I spent the last decade … and effortlessly and magically converted your tin cans into pure gold.”

Now, more subdued, and pondering a return to the show that saw him earn four Emmy nominations and win a Golden Globe in 2006, Sheen wistfully told The ENQUIRER: “I made it clear that I’m available if they want to put me in the last episode. But their ‘official’ line is that we aren’t in any ‘official’ talks. My lawyer spoke to them last week!”

Sheen claimed “there’s been an outpouring of support” from fans for his appearance, and he even has an ideal plot outlined.

“My dream is to be in the last scene of the last show,” Sheen – who earned a record $1.8 million per episode before getting axed in March 2011 – told The ENQUIRER.

“I have a couple of other ideas that I don’t want to spoil now, but it would clear up a couple of things. To me, it’s all about tipping my hat to the fans (and) thanking them for all of their support.”

Sheen said he’s also discussed his appearance with “Men” co-star Jon Cryer.

“He’s all for it,” said Sheen. “He talked to some of the writers, and they’re all for it. But God forbid others admit this might be a good thing!”

Current “Men” star Ashton Kutcher, who Sheen has also publicly ripped, “apparently caught wind of it and he seemed to be OK with it,” said Sheen, adding: “So let’s make it happen!”
