An explosive drug scandal is set to devastate the hit ABC series, “Dancing with the Stars,” The National ENQUIRER has learned.
In a shocker that implicates some of the show’s biggest names, L.A. police have opened a secret investigation into an alleged drug ring operating behind the scenes at the show.
The probe focuses on a producer who allegedly provided drugs to cast members, a source told The ENQUIRER.
The whistle-blower has provided text messages, obtained by The ENQUIRER, to the LAPD’s narcotics unit. Those messages include the names of two professional dancers and details of drugs they ordered.
“I got moon rocks, it’s the highest form of Molly,” the producer – who is not being named by The ENQUIRER – wrote to a dancer on Dec. 30, 2013.
The messages indicate dancers wanted drugs delivered to a Hollywood studio where they were rehearsing for “Dancing.”
“Hey babe! Can I get some nose candy from you? Need it tomorrow if possible,” another message, dated April 9, 2014, read. “Need it by 7pm at mccadden (sic) if possible.”
The ENQUIRER has confirmed ABC rents the McCaddenSpace Studio for rehearsals.
An LAPD source confirmed to The ENQUIRER an investigation is underway, but no arrests have been made. When contacted, “Dancing” reps said: “The LAPD have not notified us or confirmed that any investigation is underway, and we therefore have no further comment to make on the subject.”
