Cher could have only three months to live!

The music icon, 68 – who’s worth $320 million – canceled all the remaining dates on her “Dressed to Kill” concert tour due to health issues. And sources said Cher’s secretly hiding severe heart, lung and kidney problems.

“She’s had to wear a heart monitor, and a persistent viral infection has wreaked havoc with her kidneys,” a source told The National ENQUIRER. “The worst fear is that she could lapse into renal failure.”

This crisis coupled with the disease she’s battled for decades may mean that Cher’s dying.

“Cher has been sicker than she lets on,” a source said. “Her doctors ordered bed rest and friends are worried she could have as little as three months to live!”

Two months before her tour was canceled, Cher was forced to Tweet her fans on Sept. 13: “I can’t get up. This virus is a killer.”

Cher’s publicist Liz Rosenberg vehemently denied the star has months to live, but said she’s “recovering from an infection that affected her kidney function.” She also denied Cher has heart or lung issues, but had previously admitted she had been using a heart monitor. “She is hoping to restart her tour next year … I’m delighted to report, she’s not going anywhere,” Liz said.

Cher also took to Twitter to reassure her fans: “I Tried SO HARD 2b Strong enough, but my Will couldn’t force my Body time.”

Back in 1986 when Cher was diagnosed with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), she said, “I was so sick I thought I was going to die.”

Dr. Samuel Jacobson, a critical care expert from Boca Raton, Fla., who has not treated Cher, told us EBV remains dormant in the body, recurring at
times of stress or fatigue: “It can be life-threatening if it attacks your organs. There are no antiviral drugs for the disease.”

The ENQUIRER previously reported Cher called her son Chaz after experiencing chest pains. “Chaz is now begging her to rethink her plan to go back on tour,” the source said.

“It’s very serious. Cher had another 23 shows scheduled. She wouldn’t have scrapped them unless she’s very ill!” According to an aging expert, Cher’s history of health woes – illnesses, depression and personal tragedies – has taken years off her life span.

Gerontologist Dr. David Demko has devised and patented a “Death Calculator” that estimates a person’s life span.

After examining Cher’s public health history, he revealed that her clock was due to stop three years ago at age 65!

“When you are over 60, you need to stop and smell the roses instead of working yourself to the bone,” Dr. Demko warned.
