In a terrifying holiday blowup, furious CHAZ BONO stormed out of his mother CHER’s life screaming: “You make me sick – I never want to see you again!”
The ENQUIRER has learned that the transgender son of the singing legend and the late Sonny Bono clashed with his mom over his recent split with Jennifer Elia, Chaz’s live-in girlfriend of six years.
The emotional explosion – and ugly family bustup – took place shortly before Christmas. The 65-year-old diva ripped into her 42-year-old gay activist son, telling him that Jennifer had never been good for him and he’d wasted too many years with her.
Just hours later, a still-enraged Chaz tore out of his West Hollywood home in a huff and flew off to Durango, Colo., to celebrate Christmas with his stepmother, U.S. Rep. Mary Bono Mack, and her family.
“Chaz reached the breaking point when his mother scolded him and said that Jennifer had never loved him,” revealed an insider.
But incredibly, outspoken Cher felt she didn’t do anything wrong!
“She viewed the situation as tough love and thought her strong words would help her son through the recent split with Jennifer,” divulged the insider.
“But the plan backfired. Chaz was completely blindsided by his mother’s hurtful rant and immediately fired back, ‘You NEVER loved me, either!’ ”
After exchanging more cutting words, fed-up Chaz let loose with his heart-wrenching blast – telling his mom he wanted her out of his life forever.
Chaz, who was born Chastity and underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2009, has a long record of run-ins with his strong-willed mom, which eventually led to their tragic split.
“She’s just never been able to bring herself to love Chaz as a man,” explained a source close to the singer.
And NOW Chaz is banking everything — his new found fame, the estrangement with his mother, the dissolution of his engagement, to acquire a real-working penis in very risky operation that is more than hazardous.
