It WON’T make Clint Eastwood’s day when he finds out his new girlfriend’s previous marriage lasted less than a year! That’s an insider’s prediction after The National ENQUIRER obtained Christina Sandera’s divorce documents, showing her former marriage lasted all of 11 months!
As we have reported, the 84-year-old “Dirty Harry” star has been romancing Christina, 51, while ironing out the details of his October 2013 divorce from his wife of 17 years, Dina Ruiz.
“Before they called it quits, Clint and Dina managed to have a stable marriage for almost two decades,” the insider told The ENQUIRER. “Now he’s hot for Christina, but the last time around she couldn’t even make it through one year of marriage,” the source says. “Plus, she has the added pressure of being involved with one of the biggest names in Hollywood.
“Finding out Christina couldn’t last in a marriage for even a year certainly won’t make Clint’s day – and could make him question whether she’s marriage material.”
Legal documents filed in California’s Monterey County show Christina’s then-husband, Paul Wainscoat, slapped her with divorce papers on June 23, 2003. He cited “irreconcilable differences” in calling it quits on their union that began July 17, 2002, and ended June 16, 2003. They had no children.
The ENQUIRER first reported back in January that Clint was romancing Christina, who worked as a hostess at his ritzy Mission Ranch Hotel in Carmel, Calif.
At the same time, the “Million Dollar Baby” star was also involved with another beautiful blonde, Erica Tomlinson-Fisher.
When we tracked down Christina’s ex-husband Paul, a Carmel bakery shop owner, he told The ENQUIRER: “I had no idea my ex-wife was dating Clint.” But Paul recalled how Clint couldn’t stop staring at Christina one day while they were at a gas station and believes the superstar had the hots for her. Reflecting on their marriage, Paul told The ENQUIRER: “It was hell – I wish Clint all the luck in the world with that woman.”
But, according to the insider, Christina – who lived in a modest apartment above an art gallery in Carmel and drove a truck before she began dating Clint – is now living large. “Her life has been transformed almost overnight,” said the source. “Christina now lives with Clint in a new $20 million ranch estate in Carmel that Dina helped him build. And when Clint’s working in Los Angeles, they live in the lap of luxury there.”
But elements of her earlier, low-key life remain. Photographers snapped Christina pushing a shopping cart beside Clint at a Whole Foods store in Brentwood, Calif., on June 1.
Meanwhile, it looks like Christina “is anxiously awaiting” his split from onetime reality TV star Dina, 48, to become final, says the source. Oscar winner Clint is worth $375 million, but he signed Dina to an iron-clad prenuptial agreement after he coughed up $25 million to his first wife, Maggie Johnson, following their 1984 divorce.
Added the source: “I think Christina would like Clint’s divorce to be over – then they can really begin living their new life together.”
