N ew mom Eva Mendes flipped out over baby daddy Ryan Gosling’s phone chat with ex-gal pal, Rachel McAdams, sources told The National ENQUIRER exclusively.
“Eva is extremely sensitive about Rachel and took it very badly,” a source said. Ryan, 34, has stayed on good terms with Rachel since they hooked up while co-starring in 2004’s “The Notebook.”
But his ongoing connection with Rachel, 36, has irked Eva, 40, who gave birth to daughter, Esmeralda, on Sept. 12.
“Rachel still thinks about Ryan a lot and wants to maintain a friendship with him,” another source added.
“Rachel had the best of intentions when she called. She wanted to congratulate Ryan on the baby, but also to find out how he was doing.
"But Eva didn’t appreciate Rachel ringing Ryan at their home, and made that clear to Ryan, said the source.
“It caused a big scene. Now Eva’s banned him from taking Rachel’s calls.
“Eva’s convinced Rachel’s trying to win him back.”
