Erin Moran died of a suspected heroin overdose — after years of struggling with depression!

The former “Happy Days” star was found dead after Indiana police responded to a call for an unresponsive female.

Moran lived in a trailer park in her final days in an area that has seen a alarming spike in heroin usage and fatalities!

Moran has had a rocky life since the mid-1980’s when Happy Days and its spinoff, “Joanie Loves Chachi” went off the air.

Her acting career hit a dead end — with only guest spots on other TV shows coming her way.

She was a contestant on VH1’s reality show “Celebrity Fit Club” in 2008.

She lost her California home to foreclosure in 2010 — forcing her to relocate to Indiana to live with her husband’s mother in a trailer home.

Moran and her husband, Steven Fleischmann, were reportedly homeless for a time after they were kicked out for excessive drinking and partying!

“Erin was going out to bars and coming home at all hours of the night, sometimes with her rowdy bar friends, and Steve’s mom just couldn’t take it anymore,” said a source.

They bounced around living in and out of seedy motels before settling in another rundown trailer park.

Reports say she was on the verge of a split from her husband as recently as 2013.

The couple’s only source of savings came from a $65,000 lawsuit settlement Moran was part of — along with former “Happy Days” co-stars, Don Most, Anson Williams, Marion Ross and the estate of the late Tom Bosley against CBS over merchandising revenues owed under their contracts.

An official cause of death will be released following an autopsy on Moran’s body.
