BRUCE JENNER is secretly consulting lawyers about divorcing wife KRIS, insiders say, and a split could put the couple’s $155 million fortune into play!

After 21 years of marriage, the Olympic legend has reached the breaking point over the reality TV mom-ager’s flirting with younger men, and raging egomania over the Kardashian clan’s wildly successful business empire, the insiders add.

“Bruce feels that Kris treats him like a doormat, and he’s had enough,” said a source. “She constantly belittles his appearance and complains to mutual friends that he’s a boring old fart.

“Then she has the gall to flaunt her relationships with younger guys in his face!”

Fed up Bruce, 63, has been discussing divorce with golfing buddies at Lake Sherwood Country Club near the family home in Calabasas, Calif., where he’s a daily fixture, The ENQUIRER has learned.

“He hates it when cronies at the Country Club jokingly call him Bruce Kardashian,” divulged an insider. “Kris is continually perceived as the moneymaker and the one who wears the pants in the family, and he’s sick and tired of the humiliation.

“One of Bruce’s pals who’s a sports entertainment lawyer has helped Bruce value the assets of the Kardashian-Jenner empire if he moves forward with a split. He’s also talked to a divorce attorney buddy about potential custody arrangements for his two girls with Kris.”

A friend added: “Bruce is investigating what it would be like as a single guy. He loves (their daughters) Kylie and Kendall, but now they’re busy pursuing modeling and acting careers. And he feels Kris would rather run off with one of her hunky male pals or hatch a new moneymaking scheme than spend time with him.”

If they do divorce, the California-based couple – who reportedly have no prenup – would split their estimated $155 million assets right down the middle, sources say.

Bruce has amassed an $80 million fortune thanks to endorsement deals he signed after his gold-medal Olympic Decathlon win in 1976, plus a line of fitness products, his stake in a corporate aviation sales company and his earnings as a motivational speaker and TV personality.

Meanwhile, business-savvy Kris takes a fat 10 percent management fee for handling the Kardashian family TV and fashion empire, which raked in a staggering $65 million in 2010.

She’s also close to signing a contract for a syndicated FOX-TV talk show, and with associated deals, “Kris could be worth $75 million by the end of the year,” said the source. But the high-profile couple’s problems have been escalating for months, insiders say, with Kris ditching Bruce to celebrate her 57th birthday in November with daughter Kendall in Australia.

Before that, Bruce jetted off solo to London to work as a correspondent for the E! channel at the Summer Olympics, and Kris vacationed with her hunky trainer Gunnar Peterson, 50, posting pictures on Twitter of the two in France on Aug. 13.

And as The ENQUIRER has report ed, their marriage was on the verge of collapse after Bruce caught Kris cozying up to Todd Waterman, her boy-toy lover during her first marriage to O.J. Simpson’s late attorney Robert Kardashian, the father of her daughters Kourtney, 33, Kim, 32, Khloe, 28, and son Robert Jr., 25.

Twice-divorced Bruce flipped out when Kris bared intimate details of her affair with Waterman – a former pro soccer player who’s 10 years her junior – in her tell-all memoir, “Kris Jenner…and All Things Kardashian.”

Adding to Bruce’s ire, sources say, Kris was caught in a bold-faced lie when she proclaimed on an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” that she passed a polygraph test about cheating on him.

As The ENQUIRER reported, the expert who conducted the test said it was flawed, and insiders claimed the whole scenario was cooked up just to goose ratings.

And earlier this year, Bruce stormed out after a blazing fight with Kris over his fears that she’s forcing their daughters Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 15, into following in the footsteps of their hyper-sexualized older sisters.

Desperate to fix their troubled union, Kris began talking to marriage counselors in July.

“But Bruce can no longer tolerate Kris’ betrayals and being taken for granted by her,” said the source. “He’s heavily weighing his options on divorce. He’s trying to get all his ducks in a row first, but Bruce is moving closer to pulling the plug.”
