Unauthorized bio dredges up music legend’s depraved life of illicit drugs & wild kinky sex and IS Elton mad!
While the flamboyant singer has never portrayed himself as a choir boy, the book, Elton John: The Bitch Is Back" written by Mark Bego, is even more tawdry than previous revelations about the superstar piano player.
"This book couldn’t come at a worse time for Elton," an inside source told The ENQUIRER. "Especially since he and (longtime partner) David (Furnish) have been talking about adopting a baby."
The titillating tell-all, scheduled for a late October release, reveals that Elton tried to commit suicide as he struggled with his sexuality, and details a kinky homosexual threesome that took place the week of his doomed marriage to (female) recording engineer Renate Blauel in 1984.
"There’s some shocking stuff here," the source said. "Back then, Elton went through mountains of cocaine and rivers of booze. He really only straightened out with the help of David – David really saved his life."
Bego, who also has written best-selling bios on Cher, Billy Joel and Michael Jackson, told The ENQUIRER that Elton "routinely lied to the press about his cocaine addiction and his sex addiction" for most of his life.
"What I did was find people who were there with him, doing the drugs and having sex with him, to tell of their encounters," said Bego.
"I actually had more Elton sex and drugs stories that I could fit into the book!"
