Ex-vamp slayer, Eliza Dushku has animal rights peeps up in arms after revealing she hunts deer and then eats it!
The star of new Fox series Dollhouse, Dushku displayed her bow-and-arrow skills on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
When she let slip she had been out elk hunting, the audience gasped.
"My mother called me herself and said, ‘You’re a liberal from New England, what the ‘f’ are you doing in Oklahoma shooting things?" Dushku giggled.
As the audience and Kimmel preyed upon the Bambi-mom killer, the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star defended herself.
"When you’re in a relationship with somebody you have to, like, experience things that they do," she explained and then added, "A lot of people eat meat… and I eat what I kill."
Naturally, the thesp’s Tru Calling candor angered PETA who insisted she should cease and desist bow slinging.
Dushku has not publicly responded to the animal rights org’s demand.
