The ex-wife of “Baywatch” star DAVID HASSELHOFF was nearly mauled to death by three dogs during a vicious attack, she’s revealed to The National ENQUIRER.

“I am a dog lover, but this was too much,” actress Pamela Bach said in an exclusive interview. “What happened to me is unbelievable. I came within an inch of losing my life, and it’s only by the grace of God that I’m alive!”

The harrowing incident unfolded on Jan. 31 when the 52-year-old blonde – who divorced “Knight Rider” star David in 2006 after a 17-year marriage – went to the Los Angeles home of attorney Lee Arter for a meeting.

“His three bulldogs mauled me,” Pamela told The ENQUIRER.

“These dogs locked down on me, and I thought, ‘Please don’t let me die!’ But my instincts kicked in, and I fought for my life.”

Pamela said she survived by stepping on the paw of one of the dogs.

“That broke the [dog’s] grip and helped me [escape],” added Pamela, who guest-starred on the daytime soap “The Young and the Restless,” and also appeared on “Baywatch” and “Sirens.”

She was rushed to a hospital and treated for injuries to her arms, legs and thighs that required numerous stitches.

Pamela claimed that Lee, who was helping her with legal issues related to her two DUI arrests in 2009, did not file a police report.

She’s retained another attorney, Nick Rowley, who told The ENQUIRER: “It’s a disgrace what happened to this woman.”

For now, the mother of two said she’s grateful to be alive: “I try to keep smiling. I get that from my mom. She said you must always keep your sense of humor.”
