"DUMB" KID ON MODERN FAMILY IS ACTUALLY A BOY GENIUS!

Modern Family's Nolan Gould may play dim-witted Luke Dunphy on the hit ABC sitcom, but in real life the 12-year-old Columbus, Ga., native is a boy genius and a member of Mensa!

To become a member of the prestigious high-IQ society, you have to score within the upper 2 percent of the general population on an approved intelligence test.

Nolan reveals he did it when he was just 4 years old!

A reporter recently asked the curly-haired home-schooled ninth-grader: “Luke acts a little dumb sometimes. Is that difficult to play?”

Gould replied with a laugh: “Dumb is not really a hard thing to do.”

Then, more seriously, he revealed: “I’m a member of Mensa, so sometimes dumb is a hard thing to play.

“I do like to play Luke because he’s pretty different from myself. “Luke gets to do all kinds of crazy fun stuff like run into a screen door.”
