DREW PETERSON UPDATE: GRAND JURY HEARS TESTIMONY FROM SON

description

Drew Peterson’s son, Stephen Peterson, 28, testified before a grand jury Thursday investigating the disappearance of Stacy Peterson. Stephen Peterson, a police officer, declined to speak with the media about his testimony but was in court for three hours, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The special grand jury is investigating Stacy Peterson’s disappearance and the 2004 drowning of Drew Peterson’s ex-wife Kathleen Savio, whose body was found in her bathtub. Savio was said to have drowned, and a coroner’s jury ruled that the death was accidental. Her body was exhumed and a second autopsy was performed now that the case has been reopened.

Drew Peterson denies any involvement with his fourth wife Stacy’s death. He claims Stacy ran off with another man. Meanwhile, the search for Stacy has continued in a canal near Romeoville, Illinois.
