Drew Peterson is firing back in response to new claims from his sister-in-law that he shot at his wife Stacy a few months before she went missing. Drew says a gun did go off in the couple’s home, but that it was Stacy pulled the trigger by mistake. “She had a fascination with guns,” Drew Peterson told the Chicago Tribune. “I bought her a Glock for Valentine’s (Day) — because nothing says I love you like a Glock. That was our joke.”
Drew says Stacy fabricated the story she told her sister because “she was embarrassed” about the accidental discharge. A rep for Stacy Peterson’s family called Drew’s explanation “idiotic.”
