Goodhearted DREW planning FRANCES BEAN COBAIN’s wedding to dead rocker dad look-a-like!
AS if she doesn’t already have enough on her plate with a toddler and a newborn, Drew’s taken on another major project – planning Frances Bean Cobain’s wedding!
The bubbly “Charlie’s Angels” star is godmother to the daughter of Courtney Love and late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. But since the 21-year-old is on the outs with Courtney, Drew’s stepping in to play mother of the bride.
As The ENQUIRER reported, Frances is engaged to 28-year-old Isaiah Silva, a musician who bears a striking resemblance to her deceased dad. Cobain died of a self-inflicted gunshot in 1994 at age 27.
Drew, 39, knows all about family estrangements – she’s been emancipated from her own mom since she was 15. But fortunately for Frances, Drew and hubby Will Kopelman, 36, are “perfect role models.”
“They love spending time at the Kopelmans’ house,” said an insider, “even though it’s frequently a chaotic roller coaster.”
Indeed, Drew just gave birth to a second daughter, Frankie, three weeks ago, while her elder daughter, Olive, is just 20 months old. Despite having her hands full, Drew manages to keep the household humming along while helping Frances sort through wedding gown designs, colors and themes for the big day, which is expected to take place next spring, says the insider.
“Frances – like Drew – goes for free-spirited elegance, so right now, they’re trying to decide whether to have the wedding at a northern California vineyard or on an exotic beach in Mexico,” added the insider. “Drew is fielding calls from designers and stylists while nursing Frankie and sorting through catalogs for invitations and centerpieces.
“She’s relishing every moment playing mother of the bride.”
