Legendary DOOBIE BROTHERS drummer Michael Hossack dead at 65.

The band's manager, Bruce Cohn, said Hossack died of cancer in his home in Dubois Wyo.

Hossack grew up in the Garden State of New Jersey and proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War

Skin banger supreme Hossack played with the group from 1971 to 1973 and later rejoined in 1987.

His easy beat drumming is tantamount on hits "Listen To The Music," "China Grove" and "Blackwater."

When Hossack began his battle with cancer, he left the band.

Doobie Brother Tom Johnston said, "Mike has always been a part of my musical life and the life of the Doobie Brothers.

“He was an incredible musician."
