MELANIE GRIFFITH and Don Johnson have told skirt-chasing actor Stephen Dorff to stay away from their daughter Dakota because he’s far too old for her.
Sexy Dakota, 24, is set to star in the erotic thriller “50 Shades of Grey,” and sources say that the 40-year-old “Blade” hunk is “infatuated” with her.
The ENQUIRER can reveal the pair had a secret fling in 2011. Ironically, they were introduced by Dorff’s on/off girlfriend, Hollywood publicist Robin Baum, who represents Dakota.
Now the lusty thesp – a notorious womanizer who’s dated the likes of Pamela Anderson and Reese Witherspoon – is desperate to steal his dream girl away from her current boyfriend, actor Jordan Masterson, say insiders. But an infuriated Melanie and Don – who were married and divorced from each other twice – say that’ll happen over their dead bodies!
“They’ve gotten wind of Stephen’s advances,” revealed an insider. “And they both think he would be a terrible choice as a boyfriend.
“He has quite a reputation for loving and leaving women, which Melanie witnessed first-hand when she worked with him (in 2000) on the movie ‘Cecil B. Demented.’”
According to the source, Melanie couldn’t believe how Dorff treated the actresses: “leering at them and making suggestive remarks.
“But Melanie and Don’s biggest concern is the 16-year age difference between Stephen and their daughter.
“Right now things are rocky between Dakota and (her boyfriend) Jordan, and she’s flattered by Stephen’s crush on her.
“But Melanie and Don have sent him a clear message: Leave Dakota alone!”
