The sun is finally setting on three of Tinseltown’s biggest stars!

Burt Reynolds, Robert De Niro and Chevy Chase walked the red carpet this week — but probably not for long!

Reynolds’ new film “The Last Movie Star” debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival (under the title “Dog Years”), in what could be his final starring role.

The plot of the film reads like it could be a documentary about the 81-year-old actor.

Reynolds plays an aging, former movie star who is forced to face the reality that he is growing old and his glory days are well behind him.

As The ENQUIRER previously reported, the actor looked like he was barely able to stand during filming last summer — and spent his time between shooting scenes sitting in a wheelchair!

The star blames it on having done all of his own stunts throughout his career in movies such as, “The Longest Yard,” “Smokey And The Bandit” and “The Cannonball Run.”

However, he has long been known to have had problems with alcohol, prescription drugs and painkiller addiction, having gone through rehab to get clean.

The 73-Year-Old Chase plays the role of  “Sonny” in the movie, but his golden years have been anything but sunny!

As reported by The ENQUIRER, the former “SNL” and “Community” star checked himself into rehab in Minnesota during filming for alcohol abuse, and has also battled weight problems, drug addiction and depression.

De Niro, who founded the Film Festival in 2002 and is the same age as Chevy, has just as many skeletons in his own closet.

In the book, “De Niro: A Life,” author Shawn Levy wrote of his past scandals involving drugs and prostitution — even taking the blame for the shocking death of John Belushi from a cocaine overdose in 1982.
