Rapper DMX has entered a plea of "not guilty" on charges of drug possession and animal cruelty.
Also known as Russell Simmons, DMX, was indicted on seven counts including felony marijuana and seven counts alleged misdemeanor animal cruelty.
The charges are from a raid last August when authorities found malnourished and dehydrated pet pit bulls at the rapper’s Arizona home.
Three dog remains were dug up in the backyard.
Simmons has been busted previously for concealed weapons, probation violation and a bizarre incident where he claimed to be an undercover agent after crashing his SUV through a security gate at Kennedy Airport.
DMX and the Law just don’t get along.
